Sherrill Brook Park - New Hartford
Large open fields to stroll and talk. Numerous wooded trails that seem to go on forever.Very clean. Keep it that way as some of us go barefoot.

Take Route 12 south from Genesee St. appx. 3 miles. Park is on the right. Sign out front facing Route 12. Bar blocks entrance at night.

Best times: Mornings till lunch.
Dates open: 365 - Cruising Info/ Tips:Stand outside your car and let others see what's available. Sitting in the car makes others think you could be there for ANY reason.
Cruisiest Spots: Go to parking lot to the right as soon as you pull in. Main lot to the left is more a mix of walkers / joggers / families. The lot to the right is closed till spring however. - Nudity / Policy:Thong bathing suits are about as far as you should go.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:Not as good as Utica parks, but a decent alternative, especially if you want to meet someone from online but have a few doubts. Picnic tables around all areas including several that are partially hidden. This is not to suggest open , but rather an ideal place to talk to someone that you may go further with.
Warnings: Common sense dictates here. This is a nice park where families are present.
