This is a city park on the north side of town (isolated) and has no life guard. It is a beautiful little lake sheltered from the ocean breeze. It is a nudist beach whose regulars take great pride in its management. Pack it IN, pack it OUT!

From Victoria, head west on Hwy 1 for about 9 or 10 km. Take Helmcken Road exit and drive north past General Hospital and make a left (west) onto Watkiss Way for 2.5 kms., this road joins Highland Road. Continue driving past the new subdivision on your right until you see the "No Parking On Pavement" signs near the yellow-gated fire road and a sign marking Trillium Trail. Continue another 50m until you see a trail on your left starting from another gate.

  • Hours:Anytime the sun shines!
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The back hill between Thetis Lake trail and Prior Lake.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / cruiser adds: yes there is nudity.

Just visiting from Vancouver and this was by far the highlight of my trip. had a LONG hike with my dogs then took some sun and had lunch on the dock with a really friendly straight couple... the woman was pretty sweet, but her fella was smoking hot, 45-50 ish, with a deep voice and intense stare, especially when he told me if I come back in the summer I can expect a lot of nudity... YUM!
