Tulista Park
Lochside Drive
Mostly for the older crowd and a good spot for exchange of addresses for invitations home. The washrooms in this park are nicely situated with park benches and picnic tables all around. It's also close to the boat ramp, and someone might be interested in going for a boat ride.
Neighbourhood: Sidney
From downtown Sidney, take 5th Street which turns into Lochside Drive. Drive South on Lochside about 3 blocks and you'll come to the park. Be careful not to park in the boat launch area; you'll be ticketed and/or towed.
- Hours:Afternoon and early evening. It's mostly attractive to the older crowd - lots of seniors in the Sidney area who might enjoy the company of another older man.
- Cruising Info/ Tips:Just sit on a park bench and watch for someone going into the washroom. Follow him in and while standing at one of the two urinals, strike up a conversation. If interested, turn to show your or make it more obvious. There's lots of room between the urinals to view his , and be sure to make yours visible too!
- Nudity / Policy:No nudity that's for sure. This is more a place to meet someone and strike up a conversation, with the intention of being invited back to his place/your place. Because of it being close to a children's playground, on-site is not recommended.
- Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, there is a ramp for wheelchair access
- Warnings:There is a family area in the immediate vicinity, therefore exercise discretion here. If someone is interested, start up a conversation (make it generic to start with) and then go on to say something like, "It's great having this washroom here. Hope you're having a good day" etc. Just be very discreet and be able to 'withdraw' if there's no interest shown. You don't want to have someone think you're a pervert waiting to pounce! LOL

How good is this spot really? I was thinkin of hanging there this Wednesday afternoon. Maybe around 2-5ish to see if there is anyone looking for something quick. If you have a place to play, its even better. Hope to see someone there.

Hey uncut_van_guy.....I would be happy to meet you there, but as you know, there really isnt any place there to play. It would be far too risky. I do have a place nearby where we could go once there is a comfort level between us. I will be happy to meet you there. Name a day, and time, and I will be there.

Well, Its Monday morning, and I am feeling like this place is worth another try, so I will be going there about 1:00 today, and hanging around the area for a good part of the afternoon, on and off. Don't be shy....if you are looking for a safe, sane guy, thats me!
