Very nice, long beach. Water can be rough and getting down to the beach can be a little difficult. The cliffs reflect the sunhine and therefore the beach can be warmer than you would think. It is very private, so enjoy.
Crowd: Old, young, families. The gay part is in the east beach (turn left at bottom of ravine).

  • I agree with your post. However, the beach seems not to be being used as much this year. Anytime I have dropped into the park, the parking lot is either empty, or only a couple of cars there. It may have been just too hot, or that impending thunderstorms were forecast for the day. Hopefully, August will bring better beach weather.
