  • Two of my friends and I (all white) decided to explore the Glorious Health Club, we went there Saturday (06/04/11) around 1 a.m., there weren't many men there, we were ignored by all, and upon leaving aroun 3 a.m. a man parked in his car informed us that "this is a club where black men come looking for other black men, and white people will be ignored" In other words whites are not welcomed and have no buisness being there. We were shocked and disappointed since we were out looking for fun period. Eventhough the place was huge, it was unclean, and not very inviting. Needless to say I will take my friends advice from the parking lot and never go ther again.

  • Update...Saturday night...6/12/10...Since it was Pride weekend I decided to give the place another try. At 11:00 PM the parking lot was filling with cars. The name on the banner over the door read "Glorious Health Club". The owner must have taken heed to the negative feelings folks were having about the place. No more driver license nonsense!! It appears the place is taking on an atmosphere of its own and getting ready for prime time. There's a lot more to explore inside - new twists to old familiar props. Go outside on the patio and check out the recreation of the old location. Now if we could work on recycling the clientele.

  • Getting mixed reports about this place. Is it open or is it closed?? Will be heading to DC shortly for a visit and would like to check it out. Won't bother if it hasd closed. Had MANY a delightful time at the former location. Anyone know anything?? Fees? Open/closed? Clientele? Would appreciate the tip.

  • Don't overstate it. Yes a lot has closed but there are plenty of places that have NOTHING like Crew or Men's Parties.
