Busy rest area on I-84, no facilities and a lot of cruising action, especially in the back lot around dusk. Popular for truck parking and guys returning from the Cape (Cod). I have had some great contacts there...
Crowd: All types: young and middle-aged guys, truckers, etc.

All types

I-84 S/B South of Exit 2 and before Exit 1 and the CT state line.
Cross street: 1 Mile North of CT State Line
  • Crowd:All types: young and middle-aged guys, truckers, etc.
  • Hours:Dusk to nightfall.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Best times are weekends, and any night before 9 pm, when back lot is posted as closed.
    Cruisiest Spots: The back, or to the right, parking area. Park and walk either towards back woods or wooden median between back and forward lot.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Back parking area closed at 9 pm, and area is close to Mass. State Police Sturbridge barracks.
    Warnings: Close to MA State Police Sturbridge barracks. Frequent patrols, staties usually stay in cars. Busy area traffic-wise. No problems yet, though be careful!

  • Mass. State Police make it a habit of patrolling the rear parking area just at about 9:00 P.M., when it is posted as closed. They have been known to spotlight the area from the front lot, as if a warning that they're coming, but have given guys they see coming out of the woods in back a real hard time. I say get out of there before 9:00 P.M.
    It is also in Sturbridge, not Webster...
