of each other. The northbound one is
just north of Wesson exit on I-55 North.
The southbound one is just south of
Crystal Springs.

LEAVE. The rest areas on I-55 are
patroled heavily after dark due to a
murder some years back.
Cruisiest Spots: Park in front of the rest room pavillion. - Wheelchair Accessible:No
- Warnings:The State Highway Patrol and the sheriff's office. They began to patrol all of the I-55 rest areas back in the early 80's, after a murder.
Warnings: Cruise AYOR The police patrol in both
marked & unmarked. As stated before,
LEAVE when it is dark. The area is
well lit, but there have been prior
deaths at other rest areas. Carry
mace or pepper spray just in case.
