This rest area allows two-hour parking until 10 pm, but no one there after dark. Best times seem to be mid-afternoons on weekdays. Park in the lot and make your way on foot along a secluded path, out of site of parking lot. Action can be hit and miss but worth checking out.

  • The rest area has been removed with the recent resurfacing project

  • State and local police can catch you off guard here--bushes and shrubs have been cut down. Better to just meet here and arrange to go elsewhere.
