Baker's Beach
Not to be confused with a beach of the same name in San Francisco, Baker's Beach is a small private beach whose owners welcome nude sunbathing. The trail to the beach is quite rugged so bring good hiking boots. As a guest on private porperty, by extra conscious of removing all litter and not disturbing the property.

Driving north on US 101 from Arcata abour 12 miles, take the Westhaven exit and follow signs to the 'Scenic Drive' on the west side of the freeway. Drive north on Scenic Drive until you see a 'private property' sign on the right near a vine covered residence. Loos for cars parked on either side of the road, About 50 feet past the mail boxes, a path leads down to beach. The latter is quite steep and 1/4 mile long.
