Cruisiest Spots: There are three cruising spots within a mile. (1) Fannys Grove which is a disused picnic area the, about half a mile up the A616 towards Cuckney is (2) a small layby on the left just before the Kennels and a mile beyond that is (3) three laybys alongside the Welbeck Colliery Woods. All three areas are within woods. Cover obviously best when leaves are on the trees. There are a lot of rhodedendron bushes in the Welbeck Colliery Woods which give good cover all year around.
