The Pavilion is basically a overlook of Surrender Field, it has a loop around sidewalk that goes around and under the pavilion and provides great area for play.

From George Washington Hwy (US-17) North (coming from Newport News), turn right onto Cook Rd. About 1-2 miles, veer to the left on Surrendar Rd. Surrendar Field will be on your left, turn left on to Historical Trail Rd and park at the circle.
Cross street: Surrender Rd @ Historical Tour Rd (Off RT 17)

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just walk around, make eye contact, if they are interested, they will talk to you.
    Cruisiest Spots: The Surrender Pavilion. It has two walls, allows for great vantage points of checkin out the main road and see who is coming. The pavilion is about 100 yrds from the parking lot.

  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Not too great during the summer, lots of tourist come in and out with families.
    Warnings: National Park Police patrols off and on, but they don't patrol that often.
