UNM Education Building

University and Central - main campus

Is This Your Business?

UNM Education Bldg., bathroom on 2nd floor. Urinals, doorless stalls, lots of action.
Cross street: University and Central
  • Hours:8 AM - 9 PM. The best times right now seem to be the late morning to early afternoon
Best times: All types, but a pretty good chance of getting younger guys
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Be careful! This place used to be the most active spot around, but they have redone the entrance (no door) and closed the upper level restroom. If you go after the typical school crowds have left (early afternoon), you can often get some action there. This place was dead for a long time after the changes, but is starting to warm up agin. Most guys who are into each other will leave together from this spot and mess around somewhere else on campus (there are plenty of places).
Cruisiest Spots: lower level men's room
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:There are a few old guys that can hound younger guys like myself and you have to be VERY careful there now as it is difficult to hear if someone is comming in.

whos coming to UNM Education Building

  • Is this the same Education building by the Zimmerman Library? Or is this the Continuing Education Bldg by Indian School because my CS class is in the Education building every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10am and never see anyone. Also the second floor bathroom is usually locked. I never see anything at Mitchell either. Personally I think a good place to get a quicky would be in the restroom of the School of Management. I hardly ever see anyone there.

  • What's the deal with this place these days? I don't see much activity on here anymore. This was the place to be when I was in college. Is this still active?

  • Caution to the UNM cruisers. An article about cruising at UNM was recently published in the Daily Lobo. Just be careful, because now more people will be aware.
