I-40 to Black Mountain Exit, West on Broadway which becomes Montreat Rd., then it becomes Assembly Dr. after passing through gate.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Secluded spots in the rhododendron thickets. Be sure to check out the area in daylight before trying at night. Park at gate area or pull-off areas.
    Cruisiest Spots: Trails along Flat Creek, which runs parallel to Assembly Drive. Best place is between Shenandoah Terr. and Texas Road Spur.

  • I grew up in Montreat....there's no way there's cruising there, especially so blatantly out in the open.
