take Exit 4C (Haywood Street/Montford Avenue) off I-240. The library is on the corner of Haywood Street and Vanderbilt Place, near the Asheville Civic Center. You may park on the street or in the parking garage directly behind the building. To enter the library, either park on level 5 in the parking garage and use the connecting walkway directly from the garage; or park on level 4, exit the garage and follow the walkway to the entrance facing Vanderbilt Place.
