Alexander-Union Park

Alexander and Union Street

Is This Your Business?

This is a park that is located right at the corner of Union St and Alexander St. It's huge, and quite dark at night to hide any activities you may get into. During the day its not as secluded, but there's forested areas on both sides of the park.

Neighbourhood: Downtown Area

Right at the corner of Union and Alexander Streets. Alexander is a small street that runs off Main, and Union runs off Theatre Lane. You'll know when you're there because you'll come to Alexander Street School (which is now a parks and rec location, not an active school). Parking available in the school-turned-rec-centre parking lot, on the street, or at the end of Ellen Street. Also accessible by transit, routes 1, 2, 24, and 25. (You will need to get off at the first stop after the 7-11).
  • Hours:Usually at night. Nice quiet place to do your stuff.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Don't be too obvious why you're there. At night you might run into someone walking the dog.
  • Nudity / Policy:The usual policies.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Accessible yes, but the hill is a little on the steep side if you're in a wheelchair or scooter.
  • Warnings:Dog walkers, mainly.
