Cogshall Park Mirror Lake

areas

Is This Your Business?

This is a public park that is well used by city residents, so discretion is required. There's plenty of woods to play in - just find your partner and go out into the woods to avoid detection
Crowd: A mixed crowd. Heavy on the trolls but there is often a hottie construction worker and latin guy.

Who's Coming

A mixed crowd. Heavy on the trolls but there is often a hottie construction worker and latin guy.

Take the Mt. Elam Rd turn off Rte 2 west, which goes directly by the park. It's a little turn, not a major exit. If you miss it, take the next little turn (Oak Hill Rd) and backtrack on 2a. From 2a/12 take South St. to Electric Avenue (no kidding).
Cross street: Electric Avenue
  • Crowd:A mixed crowd. Heavy on the trolls but there is often a hottie construction worker and latin guy.
  • Hours:I've only been in the daytime. Would love to get an evening crowd going. I love to walk around naked on hot steamy summer nights.
Best times: Lunch time is good, and afternoons on weekends.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just the usual. Find someone you like, give them the hard stare, maybe a rub of the crotch and take it from there. I like to go deep into the woods so that no one sees
Cruisiest Spots: Near the pond (Mirror Lake)
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Watch for kids and families around the pond. Cops have been known to patrol the trails on mountain bikes.

  • Too bad. I live very close by. I do still go for walks here during the spring time.

  • Well this place is all done now! They've gouged huge holes in all of the areas we used to go...you can even be seen from the road! I don't see the point going here anymore. Might as well just head down rt 2 a little and stop at the JA rest area...best time is after 7:30 when the cleaners are gone!

just so everyone knows, this place is DEAD and UNSAFE!

  • Last time I went through here, which was in late August, the city had been clearing most of the trees around the first parking lot, leaving it looking more like a moonscape than a forest. The first parking lot is completely busted for parking, unless you're willing to follow someone deep into the woods.

The back parking lot around the other side of the loop is still OK during decent weather. There were many trees marked for cutting but the best cruising area was still intact.

Increased police patrols, including cops on mountain bikes, seemed to have scared away the bulk of the guys. The only ones left when I last visited were the same tired old grampies who are there all the time. It's sort of sad - this place used to be very hot and now it's been completely ruined.
