Is This Your Business?

A great place to meet locals who live close and have a place within walking distance. Very busy with a mix of people and almost always someone cruising. Walk the trails around the park or grab a bench and enjoy the view. Usually plenty of people walking or sitting in the sun so it is easy to blend in a not attract unwanted attention. Restrooms in the pavilion are secure as is the restroom near the tennis courts for quick action but most cruisers are within walking distance from the park.

Neighbourhood: Lakeside/Forest Park

The park is bordered by Lake Ave., California St., Vermont St., and Forest Park Blvd. The major cross streets are Anthony and Lake or Cresent and Lake.
  • Hours:Early mornings are very cruisy and then again in the afternoon til evenings. The park is open 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. and there is almost always people using the trails or enjoying the pond benches. If you're discreet, you can find some action anytime morning, noon, and night.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The best action is usually found around the Rose Garden area. Grab a bench and make eye contact. Sometimes the more 'obvious' hangout near the restroom by Pavilion 2. There is a trail that circles the park and making a loop around the main pond is a good place to start. If you don't see anyone: don't give up as there are several houses around the park and often guys will see you from their house and come over to the park.
  • Nudity / Policy:No nudity but plenty of skin in the warmer months. The restrooms are private and secure.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Handicap accessible with parking in the parking lot and paved trails surrounding the park. Restrooms are also accessible.
  • Warnings:During the summer months the Parks Department does a day-camp on the South-West part of the park near the playground and tennis courts. This doesn't affect the North-East half of the park at all and you can still walk around the entire park with no problems. When the kids are there, I recommend just hanging out north near the pond and rose gardens.

  • Went there today but the rain put a damper on things. The only bathrooms open were the ones by the tennis court. No action. :-(

  • I have noticed there are alot of guys walking around at dusk/dark. Where do you go in the park if you do a hookup? Do you dive into the bushes? I walk my dog here often.

  • Meet and go somewhere els; usually my place or theirs. On occasion the timing has worked out to use the bathroom and they lock from the inside. I've used the trees around the two neighboring ponds and the river greenway around the corner.

  • It closes at 11 but the sidewalk around the park is public. I've been pretty lucky here! One of my favorite places to cruise. err I mean people watch.
