  • Stopped by there yesterday afternoon about 4:30. Lots of traffic. One older fella, kept going in and out of the bathrooms, but never made contact with him. Other than that, looked pretty normal around there. One state policeman stopped to do some paper work, on the outside parking lot, but left after just a few minutes.

  • This rest area is now CLOSED! It is being torn down, and being rebuilt. Not to reopen until this next summer. Lots of memories there. Hope the new place brings just as good memories.

  • You are right, I was confused with the Ann Arbor rest area. Now this particular rest area is scheduled for rebuild, this fall. I was in there talking to one of the attendants, and he told me this information.

  • This rest area is not under construction. It might be later in 2007 but as of 3/1/07 it is still kicking. The earlier post must be confused with the Ann Arbor rest area.
