This is a public boat ramp for the Ross barnett Reservoir so be discreet and wait for those guys, who have been on the water for a long time, to gt their pee on and leave.

Take Lakeland Drive north from jackson, approx. 10 miles North take Canton Exit and go left. Just across the Reservoir, Browns Landing is on the Left just before the natchez trace Pwky.
Cross street: Natchez trace Pwky.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The restroom has all the activity at time - the walls advertise and it works. Just sit and wait then take a trip to the restroom when you see an obvious non-fisherman! If they follow you in thats good. Also can just park and wait - cruisers will park right next to you! Two parking lots, lots of action.

  • Warnings:Very Occasional Park Patrol and a lot of guys who will get themseves off abd boogie, leaving you hanging and !

  • I don't know how this place had a 5 star rating, it is the most dead spot I know of. ther is writing on the walls (much of it very old) but I have never seen anyone interested or of interest, other than an occasional much older guy. I rate this place a 1
