Large park with roads, parking area, lake and shelter house. many trails lead off road. You can go down in the woods if you want to. There are also 2 shelter houses and one restroom that are popular.

This park is west of I-435 on 23rd Street. South side of 23rd St. It's 23rd & Topping, east side of KC.

  • Hours:I think it is open 24 hours a day, but is better during daylight hours, early afternoon to early evening.
    Best times: I have found during the week after 9 am. Tuesday is usually a good day.

  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Tap you brake lights if someone goes by you are interested in.
    Cruisiest Spots: Parking areas off roadway.
  • Nudity / Policy:Yes / I have seen a few guys nude in the woods.

  • Warnings:Sometimes there are park workers around, but I do not know and have not heard of any danger or police hassling anyone.
    Warnings: Cops drive through once in a while, but they have never bothered me.

  • I used to go here all the time, but lately I haven't. Used to be fun but now it's practically deserted. Mostly old guys and not looking for that. Do watch out for cops though. They may or may not question you.

  • Lately there is not much going on here. They are putting up blockades so there are not many places to part anymore.

  • Just last week, someone was found murdered at this park. Keep your eyes open. If you don't believe it or haven't heard about the murder, you must be on another planet. It's been all over the papers and tv. Just be damn careful. And this park is also in a gang area.

  • This truly has the potential for some fun, but please be careful. The Eastside Division of The Kansas City Police is headquartered less than a mile away, and they are aware of the park and the cruising. It's been almost 3 years since the last crackdown, but you never know.
