Go west on Clinton Parkway, turn left towards the dam, turn on first left before the dam, follow it to below dam fishing area and turn left. Do not go on down to where the spillway is, go forward instead.

- Warnings:There are no longer glory holes at these park restrooms. The restrooms have all been re-built and are single occupancy that have locks.

This park is now open again. This is the height of fishing season so a lot of fishermen are parking in that area to walk down to the river.
The park is only accessible from the north end of the dam. The road between the entrance to this park and the golf parking lot is still closed.

So, this is the reason why Riverfron Park in North Lawrence has literally gone to the dogs. As, the off lesh dog area is closed down by the "tubes" in this are. Just be warned about Riverfront Park though tons of dog walkers in the woods now!

It looks like the City is resurfacing the road. The road is closed from the north entry off the dam to the entry to the golf coarse. It does not look like any work has been done yet but the road has been closed for about 2 weeks. I am not sure how long it will take for the construction project to complete.

i keep seeing the same people here. i have been wanting to blow, but people seem scarred of doing anything. next time i'm there ill be in a blue pick up.

I met a cute guy there last Saturday afternoon. Gave him a great b/j. It was very good!!! Down at the parking spot at the end of the long drive. We just sat there and aited for others to leave the area then we got it on.

I was out there last night, but there was a big gathering of str8 folks. I have hooked up out there after dark a few times and the park has a great long-distance entrance, so you have plenty of time to get your pants back on if someone drives in.

I have been to this park several times now. Two different times there was an older guy there and one time there were two older guys. I have been there around noon and late afternoon. Is there a best day for meeting guys here? Generally I have been there on weekdays.
