This is a large nature preserve with lots of trails and areas to escape to in order to have some privacy and have a good time. There are no fee's to get in.

Neighbourhood: Old Richmond Rd Area

Take Richmond Road east (out of town) and turn right onto highway 25 (across from Jacobson Park). Go approximately 3 1/2 miles to Jack's Creek Pike and turn right (at Judy Ray's Grocery Store). Go about 5 1/2 miles on Jack's Creek Pike and Raven Run is located on the left. A large chain-link fence and sign mark the entrance.
  • Hours:This park is open year round. Opens at 9am and closes at 5pm during the winter months months, and is open till 7pm or 8pm in the summer months.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:The parking lot is large and unattended. When you pull in it pull the the left side closer to the entrance. Most patrons park futher toward the front of the lot closer to the entrance to the trails. Just look for guys sitting in their cars alone in the lot. This place can be pretty busy during the summer, but during the winter, spring, or fall it is very quiet, and very private. It's a good discreet place to hook up or meet with a cruise hook up. You can stay in the parking lot or go down one of the trails and there are plenty of discreet areas to get it on.
  • Nudity / Policy:Nudity or acts are not permitted in this area, so just be discreet about it, and you can have a good time.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / The parking lot is handicap accessible, but the trails are not.
  • Warnings:Police do not come to this place at all. There are park employees, but they are located about 300 yards down the first trail in a small building out of site of the parking lot, and of the trails past their building. Most of them are older employees and don't go out on the trails unless called for. Very rarely do you see an employee on the trails or in the parking lot.
