A sort of spit and sawdust bar. Mostly locals in there and suprisingly mixed for the LA scene. I recommend this place highly cause it's off the beaten track and the guys have little or zero attitude. It's a cross of cruisy and friendly without being in your face.
Drinks are cheap and the guys cute. There is someone for all types.

If you like your African American or Latino males, go here. I highly recommend it.

Turn right off First street, drive for approx 1.5 miles and you will find the bar on the right hand side. Can't miss it, the sign is a huge Union Jack Flag(British flag).

  • Hours:Closes at 2am, like the rest of Long Beach.
    Best times: Gets really full after midnight.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:If they like, they'll certainly come to you. Just get talking to the guys in there, they're really friendly and more than approachable.
    Cruisiest Spots: Pool tables or by the toilet.
  • Nudity / Policy:I would presume, no on the premises. Take it away with you.

  • Warnings:You have to show ID on the door. Everyone who enters gets carded. Don't forget to take it.

  • Haven't been here in a while, but from the times that I did go, I can tell you that this place is not a place where you'll find anyone cute... It does have a broad mix of guys, and an occasional cute boy will pop in with a friend, but typically this place and the Mine Shaft down the street are more local dive bars... If Your lookin for a older guy or a bear type, these bars are perfect... But if you'd like younger truly cute boys, hit Ripples, Executive Suite or The Silver Fox...
