The park consists of a lodge building with a simple small men's room (single toilet in a , and ), as well as a large (several acres in size)lagoon surrounded by a paved walking trail. Some guys hang out in the shelters. A walk around the lagoon path offers a number of quiet sequestered locations for fun.

From Cong. Dickensen, turn onto Gunter Park Drive (T- intersection) and proceed to stop sign. Continue straight ahead and then turn left into park entrance. Drive approximately 1/4 mile and park in front of lodge building or continue to end of paved parking area to the right.
Alternatively, turn left from northeastern bypass onto Lagoon Park Drive; proceed to stop sign, turn right onto Gunter Park Drive, then right again at park entrance.
Cross street: Gunter Park Drive & Cong. Dickensen Blvd

  • Hours:Dawn to dusk.
    Best times: Lunchtime and afternoons.
    Dates open: Year-round
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Guys go here to walk or just to relax. Try to strike up a casual conversation, but be discreet and use common sense, as always.
    Cruisiest Spots: Lodge facility men's room and shelters near lagoon.

  • A second, smaller pull-off type gravelled park is also located on Gunter Park Drive, just past the Lagoon Park intersection. Guys typically park here during the day (all times) and may be approached via informal chat. A wooded short hiking trail lies just next to the parking lot, and a small forested patch is located conveniently nearby for fun, but beware that cops also patrol this area, as well. Good place in outdoor to get , and . No restrooms here.

  • Warnings:Others use the park as well for office romance trysts, etc. Hookers may try to troll from their vehicles. Family activities take place here regularly, especially during the favorable weather season.
    Warnings: All parks are occasionally checked by Montgomery Police.

  • Yep, their pictures where in the paper Tueday morning. They're also running stings at the Welcome Center in Wetumpkay so be careful.

    "This place is being watched on the constant by Montgomery PD, they were hassling people Sat. & Sun. and rumored to say "we are going to be here every day until this type of activity stops".

    Please be aware of your surrounds, and cruise carefully.

  • Whats up with this and the gravel area? Or is mgm finest still out trying to put a stop to people having a little fun instead of protecting the citizens of mgm from murder, robbery, and such?

  • be careful. there was a sting today. montgomery's boys in blue picked up 6 guys here and 2 at oak park. "loitering with immoral intent."
