    Warnings: Watch for Wetumpka police, they cruise through once in awhile. Just be aware of your surroundings.

  • @Shoguys - Yes people still go there and the time varies. Usually early morning, lunch and drive home are good. Late evenings as well. YMMV.

    As for safe? As with any cruising stop it all depends on you. If you are safe and keep an eye out then yes. If you are not watchful the no.

    Since 230 is a well traveled road by non-locals, it does actually get used as a rest stop. So there are families that come through. Just keep and eye out and you'll be fine.

  • Had a little more luck on my recent trip. Not a whole lot because there were two guys camping out at the pavilion. I've seen the heavyset back man before. The white guy, also heavy set, was new. At one point he went into the women's restroom.
