Where exactly

North city limits of New Smyrna Beach about 2 miles north of New Smyrna airport. Sleepy Hollow Road is on the east side of US1 just before the first of the '3 bridges' on US1. There is a large brown sign at the entrance.

When to go

Afternoons. Park is open during daylight only. Closes 30 minutes before sunset.

Etiquette

Go to dead end of road and park. Watch for someone to exit on foot and follow them onto one of the trails. There is a picnic table under a covered pavilion which mainly oldies use to hang out.
