If you meet someone and it's late, walk 1 block to 78th St (Travers Park). Discretion is advised, but it's free from cops and the like. Sometimes there are soccer games in the yard. Nice to see all those Spanish boys' muscular legs while you're waiting for your own 'dinner' to arrive...kind of, like, waiting for your table at the bar!

As a resident of the neighborhood, I can say that I've had success at meeting guys in this area of Jackson Heights -- Mostly after 11 pm, but this place isn't crawling with guys. It's just a great place if you live in the area to meet guys. I don't think it would be worth traveling to.

unfortuneately i think this guy got lucky once or twice because he was really only a few blocks away from the greatest cruising area in the world. the cinema on astoria blvd and 82nd st. right next to burger king. i've been there at 12 in the afternoon on a wednesday too 11 at night on a friday, and there is always something interesting to do. of course any night 6 to 9 is the best time. they open until midnight, 3AM on weekend. enjoy!!!!!
