Facilities: Treadmills, Stairmasters, Lifecycles, Rowing Machines, Weight Equipment, Free Weights, Full Sized Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. Steam Room and Sauna inside Men's Locker Room.

  • Directions:Located on West End Avenue, between 96th and 97th, on the east side of the street.

  • Hours:Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 11:00pm, Friday 6:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00am to 8:00pm.
    Best times: Weekday mornings (between 6:00am and 9:00am). Weekdays after work (5:30pm to 11:00pm). Weekend mornings and nights are also especially busy in the steam room.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Look to either make eye contact near the changing area by the lockers, inside the jacuzzi, or in the showers. Put a towel around your waist and head into the steam room. The showers are individual, with glass doors and a glass wall in between each shower.
    Cruisiest Spots: Steam Room, Jacuzzi.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:There is a mostly oblivious attendant who sits behind a desk in the locker room in between the locker/changing area and the showers. The steam room and sauna are out of his view, though.
    Warnings: There is a sign at the entrance of the steam room that says, "Inappropriate Behavior Will Not Be Tolerated And Memberships Will Be Revoked." I haven't heard of any instances with this happening. Also, once you're in the steam room, be careful for straights. Be cautious in starting to play with yourself until you and the other guy(s) have the signal that it's cool between all of you.

  • the place is a bit of a dump. Not worth the membership fee.
    mostly older to totally geriatric set if that is your thing.

  • yes. it's for both. i think the membership is around $800-1,000 per year.
