Update on directions: Just take the E or F train to Kew Gardens, Union turnpike; get off, walk up to Bally's Gym and walk about 3 long blocks until you get to the park. 12/06/04 A cruiser reports: I worked there and know for fact since I also cruised there. There are no plots against the guys there. But then they are very obvious about whats going on. Its now winter and no brush or leaves to hide them and U can see them in plain site tring to carry on within site of whats called the closed road. The area is referred to as Larry's Lane.

  • THE BEST PLACE FOR YOUNG GUYS IS NEAR BRATTLEBORO VERMONT!!! From Brattleboro, Vt: Go north on SR-30 for 8.5 miles to Williamsville Rd. on the left. Park in the parking area on SR 30. Walk up Williamsville Rd, until you reach the first little drive on the right called Station Rd. (GPS 42* 56 48.05N by 72* 38 30.46W)
Walk in on Station Rd. towards 3 small houses. (It looks like a private drive, but its not!) Walk toward the wooden fence and past a small shack which almost blocks the path. Then walk along the trail which follows the river for about a mile. Go up the wooden stairway on the trail and keep going for another 1/4 mile, then cross the river at a shallow spot and you will be at the gayest nudist place in the Northeast!.

  • used to go there in the 90's. the trails off the Metropolitan Ave side have been fenced off. It was always dangerous at nite in there. Have know several guys who were bashe. have really avoided it altogether

  • Was here on 5/5/08 early morning. Hooked up with a young hot guy who seemed a mixed breed; maybe Asian and Central American. Too many dog walkers and joggers near the main road. I agree with a previous poster who says to go deeper into the park, (closer to the train tracks). But if a cop stopped me, I'm not sure I'd run deeper into the park. I've seen cops there on horses and they could be trigger happy.

  • I also got a ticket here for being in the park after dusk. Got off the ticket because they issued the ticket at sunset NOT after dusk. The definition of dusk is compicated and can be found by googling it online but its approximately 1/2 hour AFTER sunset. The cops weren't aware of it and were pissed when I won in court. If you get stopped by a cop, especially a heavy one, feel free to run deeper into the park. They dont know it as well as you may and dont tend to go very deep into the park or off the initial trails.

  • best to avoid being in the park in the late evenings. i wait around the bend on a bench and when a car stops and picks me up we go down a few blocks and i'll service him there. much safer

  • I got stoppped by a cop and got a ticket along with 6-7 others just for walking on a trail after dusk. They ARE cracking down. Furthest trails from the road are safer.
