The park has several parking areas, the
cruisiest is at the end of the entrance
road near the park restrooms. Most of
the action occurs in the restrooms during lunch.

From I-40 take Aviation Parkway exit. The park is a quarter mile along on the left.

    I know where that tower is and it is near the boating and fishing pier at Crabtree Lake. I was out that way the other day and I didn't see any videocameras posted anywhere. The place where I go is the last restroom area overlooking the lake area and that one is more private and those restrooms have locks on them. Lots of hotties out there and that one is safer for me. And the locks work. The same can be said for those who go out toward Reedy Creek Park too off Harrison Avenue in Cary.

  • I went up there around lunchtime and basically the best entrance is near the lake at the end of the road there was a parking lot. The rangers were out in full force that day and you wouldn't believe the state troopers were there looking out for unsuspected behavior. And speaking of that lady ranger she had the binoculars that day and she came out of nowhere in the woods. Just to give you fair warning especially around lunchtime near Crabtree Lake.

  • Heads up guys. There was a lady ranger trying to get in on the action today. She came out of the woods by the tower with binoculars. I think she was looking for "real" peckers and not wood peckers.

    There were three rangers doing inspections and they phoned her in to come catch someone for indecent exposure. I did overhear that.
