This is a parking lot, with bathrooms, outing tables, & walking trails. Just be distinct, as there are people there fishing & kayaking( some kayakers transform clothes in the parking area ... good views!!).
Hours of Activity
Best times are from lunchtime(noon) through the afternoon. It is also active later in the day & evening.
Who's Coming
From I-540, take Falls of Neuse Road towards Wake Forest. Continue on Falls of Neuse road, past the fire station, as road goes down toward the river. Just before the bridge, turn LEFT & go beside the canoe shop. They are rebuilding the old bridge, so there may be a detour of Falls of Neuse Road, but if you get to the canoe shop, turn left beside it.Cross Street: Be sure to take Falls of Neuse Road, NOT the New Falls of Neuse Road!!! Apparently the new road is open, but not sure if they started rebuilding the old bridge yet, or when it may start.

- The best cruising spots are in the parking lot, in the restrooms, & on the trails...just be discrete as others are there to fish, hike, & kayak.
