The men's area is all pit showers (3 of them), a hot tub (great for mutal j/o), large sauna & steam (great for exhibitionism and voyerism). Also has a massage area for members ($). The staff know what is going on and ignore it. I've j/o another guy in a shower with a straight guy there who kept his back to us. Very permissive environment.
Crowd: College students, young professionals, blue-collar workers, older professionals and retired men.

Take the Beltline to the Hillsborough Street exit. Turn left onto Hillsborough Street. It is on your right after passing North Carolina State University.

Best times: After 5:00 Monday-Friday, after 3:00pm Saturday and Sunday. - Cruising Info/ Tips:Make eye contact and smile at people; you'll quickly learn who is interested. Don't be shy- leave yourself uncovered whenever in the sauna/steam. Most straight guys will leave their towel on their waist, but not all. Wedding bands don't always indicate straight. If it is slow at the gym and you find someone to hookup with you generally have 5-10 minutes to yourselves- I've found it enough time to each other and get off.
Cruisiest Spots: Men's shower that leads to the pool. Frequent 4+ guy j/o sessions on weekends. Most guys meet in the sauna/steam area then go to this area to finish, although I've dropped a few loads in the sauna/steam. - Wheelchair Accessible:Yes
- Warnings:Sometimes can be slow, and every day there are old trolls there who can't take a hint.
Warnings: When in the back shower by the pool listen for the door to open and occasionally glance up the staircase. You have plenty of time to get back to your shower. I've never seen anyone be hostile or over react when they "catch" you with another guy, but it's always best to play it safe.

How much does it cost to get in? WHat parts of the facility do you have access to once inside? i kinda like old guys........and i am totally shaved so i am sure i will get some looks. Any suggestions?

Very new very night but very well lit and open. It seems almost impossible to cruise here with the new layout. You do get to check the other guys out but from what I say most are old and outta shape. The old Y was way more cruise friendly. This is more of a look but do not touch kinda place now from what I saw.

Was there this afternoon (Sat) and stood in the showers across from another hung dude. We j/o together, watching each other. Very hot. Not a lot of space to hook up though, too many str8 boys. But we cruised in the sauna and steam, popped boners where we could see each other, but could not find a moment to be alone for a little hand action. It was kinda hot tho, j/o in the showers. He had a big fat one!
