Neighbourhood: Downtown.

Who's Coming

Local gay crowd.

From I-581, take either exit 5 or 6 and get on Williamson Road. Turn on Salem Ave. (it's one block past Campbell Ave, the main street through downtown). Follow Salem and cross 2nd St., SW. Pass the Roanoke Times Building on the left and the VA Transportation Museum on the right. The Backstreet Cafe is just ahead on the left, between 3rd and 4th. Look for the 7-UP sign over the door. It's a very small place.
