Is This Your Business?

This is the bathroom of a fairly popular corporate food court in Rincon Center. It is located in the back rear corner of the food court, between an Italian place and a Korean restaurant. It consists of three urinals (small partitions) and four stalls.

Neighbourhood: Financial District

The cross street is Mission between Spear and Stuart. It's located on the ground floor of an historic building; the food court is pretty hard to miss. It's just a block away from the Embarcardero BART/Muni stop.
  • Hours:The bathroom is open to the public between 11am-3pm. I've gotten action there all throughout that time span, but it's perhaps the heaviest between 1 and 2 (when the lunch crowd dies down a bit).
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Most of my cruising adventures here begin (and sometimes conclude) at the . The last two s are, of course, the most cruise-friendly s. The crowd is a mix of business men, food court employees, and tourists. If you get bored of waiting around inside the bathroom, just get some food or a newspaper and camp out at one of the tables near the restroom area, and watch for meaningful eye contact.
  • Nudity / Policy:It can be pretty quiet, so it's safe to /get ed at the s! If someone starts to open the door, you'll have more than enough time to straighten up before they can see you. The last is a handicapped , and provides quite a bit of security and privacy for one-on-one (or more) encounters.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No / Yes, it's accessible to people with disabilities. There are wheelchair ramps.
  • Warnings:I have found this to be a safe and secure spot. Just be considerate to the non-cruisers, lest any complaints be made. Also be aware of the maintenance staff that drop by occasionally. But they're generally announced by their loud wheeled trash barrels.

  • I don't know if it's wishful thinking, but this place seems way too busy with normal restroom traffic to be cruisy. While the stalls are fairly private, I spent a half hour here (admittedly between 2:20 and 2:50), and it was plenty busy, but NOT with people cruising. Everyone who came in, probably at least 20 people, came in, did their business, and left. NOBODY milled around. I can't imagine fooling around in here with MORE foot traffic during the lunch rush, and how you'd begin to tell the difference.
I don't think it's that my cruising skills are rusty.
That all said, this was my first attempt and off the stated time, but I can't help but wonder if there's someone here who simply WISHES it was busier.
With the hoards of regular traffic I witnessed, I can't imagine this being a good place to cruise.

  • This place seems to be picking up steam. Between noon and 1 seems to be quite a little hotspot.

  • I hook up with guys here frequently, but I don't know if they're cruise readers. Have any of you been checking this place out? If not, you're missing a good thing!

  • This place is HOT. Definitely worth checking out on your lunch break to get rid of that mid-day boner.
