Located South of Golden Gate, but North of Baker. At the cliff overlooking beach is Presideo. Look for dirt parking lot. Take trail from parking lot down to the beach.

  • It's actually not closed. Yes, people seem to confuse this with Golden Gate Beach. None of Baker Beach is closed and it's really not that cruisy although it's very gay/nudity friendly. For cruising, go hang out on Golden Gate Beach (harder to find) and yes, the second cove is closed due to the fact that they are cleaning up the lang (which is a good thing), but you can go to the first, bigger cove and get naked, and do anything you want without any trouble from anyone. It's very open to sun bathing, nudity, sex, whatever.

  • I was here yesterday and you can definately still use the beach....both parts have guys running around totally naked. So, knowing that, do guys actually play in the baker beach area? Cus I've yet too see anything like that. Buena Vista is the only place I've seen public cruising and with the ability to watch.

  • Most of the beach is closed down through the summer of 2007, possibly until 2008 (according to the Bay Area Reporter gay newspaper) due to clean up of some kind of toxic fill dirt that was dumped near there. Only about 1000 feet of beach is open right now, and some of the paths are closed.

    Golden Gate Beach. Baker Beach does have a nude section at the north end but it is mostly straight and there's no sex.

  • The best part is the northern beach, near the Golden Gate Bridge, also known as "Nasty Boy Beach". Fun! One of my favourite places to jerk-off in the open air.
