The guide

Where exactly

From Avila Beach Drive, turn left on Cave Landing Rd. Go for 1/2 mile and park in dirt lot on right. At far end of parking lot, there is a steep trail that leads to beach. (stay left at fork in trail) Then go down rocks to beach.

When to go
Etiquette

The gay side of the beach and up on the rocks or in the bushes.

Nudity: Yes / Clothing optional. No hassles

That's sad to hear. I had some great times in those bushes, usually after midnight on Saturday nights...

Has anyone been there lately whats the deal? police no police?safe?

Things have been set into motion for the County to buy this private beach property and turn it into a public park. Look for more patrols by Park Rangers and Sheriff's Deputies, and more activity by Sheriff's vice squad.
