    Cross street: Avenida Paulista
  • Hours:Late afternoons and early evenings from about 5:00-7:00.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Everything goes on at the s, which have very low partitions between them. Guys stand at the s and discreetly play with themselves or make contact with the guy next to them. Straight guys know this goes on (it goes on at almost any public restroom in Sao Paulo) and know to use the stalls to pee, so almost anyone at a is cruising. If you find someone you want more privacy with in, it's not uncommon to move to one of the emergency exit stairwells. (Emergency exits in Brazil don't have alarms on the doors.) There is also a per-hour hotel about a block away on the other side of Av. Paulista, back toward the Paraiso subway station, that charges about 30 reais for three hours.
Cruisiest Spots: Mall restrooms on every floor - sub-floor, ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor - are all very cruisy, but the large sub-floor restroom and the first floor restroom next to the escalators are the best.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Restrooms have a lot of traffic. Janitors are also constant nuisance. More importantly, mall security monitors the restrooms frequently. If they catch people cruising, they often quietly take them to the security office for a lecture and a warning, but I've never heard of anyone turned over to the police. The mall seems to want to avoid the negative publicity associated with arrests but it doesn't mean it can't happen.
