cruiser update 5/20/2009: Last year (2008) the showers by the tennis courts became accessible only by keying in a sequence of numbers into a keypad on the door. This situation remains the same for 2009. Presumably this change happened so that these showers would be available exclusively to people who moor their boats at the nearby marina. The sequence of numbers is probably made available only to people who reserve a boat slip. It is quite a simple procedure for the Parks Department to re-set this kind of keypad lock whenever they feel the combination of numbers has been compromised. Unfortunately this set of showers is pretty much out of the running if you are looking for shower action.
The Parks Department has cleared much of the vegetation, brush, bushes, and trees from the dunes south of the clothing optional beach. Head to the dunes north of the clothing optional beach ... from the point where you need to start wearing clothes, as you head north, right to the airport beach you will find plenty of dense vegetation and guys who are actively cruising for fun.
previous comment: This is a gay man's paradise when time and/or finances are limited for making it out of Toronto to a cottage. Clothing optional beach has really brought about some relaxed attitudes in a city which was once noted for being prudish!
Crowd: All ages, all types.
