This park is nice whether you're cruising or not. There are lakes with reclaimed water that you can fish in. I've seen sailboats on the lakes on weekends. It is a very popular family park on weekends so I know won't be cruising there on a Saturday or a Sunday.
Crowd: Be smart about who you approach - there are a lot of guys alone who are actually there just to fish in the "lakes". This side of Tucson has a lot of blue collar guys in pick up trucks. Other than that it has, besides the usual old guy resident cruisers, a wide variety of cruisers.

N. on I-10 to Wetmore exit. Go east onto Ruthrauff turn L headed south on Silverbell. It's a busy, narrow two lane road so keep your eyes open for the sign on the right hand side.
Cross street: N. Silverbell Rd.

  • Hours:Park closes at 10pm. There were cars parked all over the place last week at 9pm.
    Best times: Rush hour has a lot of guys stopping of to get head on their way home. Evenings can be nice too.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:There are two bathrooms. The one near the entrance gets busy at rush hour. The door does not lock and there is only a urninal and john without a door. If someone opens the door and you're going at it, you will be seen. The other, nicer one, further into the park is used too much by families. Probably a little better at night. However it is next to a fenced area for dog owners and there were people with dogs there at 9pm. Be carefull.
    Cruisiest Spots: At night guys will park way in the back (west) near the river and either get to it in their cars or into the bushes.
  • Nudity / Policy:No.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:The old old really old guys who drive around and around and around. Desperation just never seems to be a low key thing.
    Warnings: Some guy tried to have me follow him to one of the many portable toilets. Yes, he was a cop. No I did not follow. Don't you fall for that one either.

  • I go here a lot and sit in my truck for lunch by the RC boat pond but have never been approached.
