I am new to Tucson, I went there lastnight, the place was nearly packed had a good time. the bathrooms are busy.

@Tucsonguy4fun: When I came to town, I was told to avoid it because there were certain individuals who frequented the bar who had a tendency to ignore the word "no" and had allegedly sexually assaulted several younger more naive patrons who may have mistaken Venture-N to be a more mature IBT's.

Maybe that's not the case now, but I know the time when I went with a whole group of people (just to see how truly bad it was), I didn't feel very safe about certain dark areas of the bar and outdoors, and I'm a fairly imposing guy.

Any place that would knowingly allow any of their patrons to force themselves on another person should be closed down ASAP in my opinion. However, there's never been viable proof (i.e., an arrest) to my knowledge. But it should be pointed out so that caution can be taken.

@jhawkcock: What is the bad reputation that you mention? I am not a bar scene person but I have enjoyed a beer there. What am I missing?

@lilasiankicker: The fact that there were no postings at all in 2008 should be very telling. While there are guys who go to this bar, it has a very bad reputation. (I think it's also telling that I know three guys -- and myself -- who were all warned to avoid this bar like the plague BEFORE we moved to Tucson. What does -that- say?)

should be called the denture inn - only time to go is the weekends... the rest of the time it is slow to dead, at least in my experinece

Sorry for those guys who don't get lucky. I get lucky every time I go there. It's a fun bar especially on the weekends - but weekdays can be slow.

This place IS OPEN... love the fruitloop
