  • This place is nearly always reliable. Just wish people would clean up after themselves, or it's going to start getting patrolled more and more.

  • i'd be careful when cruising this area. There's a lot of locals that use the pacific spirit trails and paths that walk their dogs, hike or bike with their family, run, or just enjoy the trails. The municipal well area gets frequent visits by security personnel. I would not cruise this area.

  • The directions to the spot are the same as Upper Road Wreck Beach, which is a great cruising spot. Some great cruising goes on here as well.
Park near 16th and Blanca and take the trail south of 16th until you see a big clearing with a concrete covered municipal well. Because the area is protected by trees, there's not much wind, and because it's concrete it really heats up in the spring summer and late fall. Occasionally guys sunbathe. Last fall I saw a guy in a string bikini sunbathing and after some voyeurism, we found our own spot in the forest. I even saw a guy sunbathing discreetly nude, but he didn't seem interested.
Make sure you go to the far side of the area (away from the main trail) and hit the woods for the hot stuff. A lot of people walk by the trail.
See you there in the spring!

  • Is this not basically the same area as Cruising listing "Upper Road Wreck Beach"?

  • fair amount of action. There is an east and west area with the trail to the beach breaking up to the two halves. Find a trail and follow it parallel to the cliff edge and you should find what you want
