Is This Your Business?

Almost every time I go there, there's one or more gay boys who are extra-casually wandering the aisles, trying to look like they're there to buy something, but they aren't! However, while I've always noticed cruising going on there--and participated in it--nothing ever seems to happen. It seems to be just cruising, no hooking up. Maybe one needs to jump the boys in the aisle and haul them out by the hair.
Crowd: It's Target, so you'll run into everybody there, hetero and otherwise. Gayboy-wise, it's mostly white, Latin, and a few Asian guys in their mid to late twenties and early thirties.

1. Driving (North/South on La Brea Avenue): Turn left (if driving north) or right (if driving south) onto Romaine Street immediately south of Santa Monica Boulevard, then right into the West Hollywood Gateway parking garage. An express elevator will take you straight up to Target. Alternatively, metered parking spots are sometimes available nearby. 2. Driving (East/West on Santa Monica): Turn right onto Formosa Avenue (if driving east) immediately west of La Brea, or left onto La Brea (if driving west), then left (if on Formosa) or right (if on La Brea) onto Romaine, then left (if coming from Formosa) or right (if coming from La Brea) into the parking garage. 3. Metro Bus (East/West on Santa Monica): Take either the 4 (Local) or 304 (Limited) bus from any stop on either route, and get off at La Brea. Target is right there. 4. • Hours:Weekdays during the mid- to late afternoon and early evening.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Guys tend to be subtle there, likely because of the mixed crowd of people actually shopping. If you're there to cruise, then spot yourself a gay boy and... lay off the subtlety. Catch his eye and make it happen.
Cruisiest Spots: Hands down, the Bedding and the Bath sections are most often it. Where else do most gay boys do their 'shopping'?
