There is a huge parking area, shelter, walking tracks on the lower side of the dam. You can additionally drive to the top side of the dam where the lake is.

1. Head west on I-70 W 0.9 mi 2. Take exit 5 for US-40 toward Elm Grove / Triadelphia 0.3 mi 3. Turn right onto US-40 E/National Rd 1.0 mi 4. Turn right onto Middle Wheeling Creek Rd 3.3 mi 5. Turn left to stay on Middle Wheeling Creek Rd Destination will be on the left.
