There is a big parking area, shelter, walking trails on the lower side of the dam. You can also drive to the upper side of the dam where the lake is.

After dark guys cruise along the bike path between 10th and 15th Avenue. Walking south, cross over the bridge, about twenty yards along, and the trail begins. The action occurs along the trail.
