The majority of the daytime activity in this park happens in the restroom alongside the tennis court. After dark people move to the backstage location of the amphitheater. While the last is outdoors, darkness provides personal privacy and also individuals can be heard approaching.

Who's Coming
From the Beltway Take exit for Route 236 (Little River Turnpike) east toward Annandale. Follow Little River Turnpike into downtown Annandale. Turn left onto John Marr Drive. At first traffic light, turn right onto Columbia Pike. Follow Columbia Pike to Mason District Park.

- Tennis courts are very busy on decent days - even cold ones, there is a creek and several large fallen trees that provide nice cover and easy to spot the occasional dog walker exploring the woods. Just be aware there are trails on both sides but most dog walkers stay to the side of the creek with the parking and tennis courts. There are more hills and nice hidden niches for discreet play when things are a bit too busy in the other play areas.
