Is This Your Business?

This park is located between the bridge on North Parade Rd. and Pulteney Bridge dropped down from street level with nice paths and a pleasant walk along the river to the weir. It's centrally located with a busy pub and a large hotel both located across the street that generate plenty of foot traffic. The later it gets the more single men there are out "strolling".
Crowd: Locals and tourists wanting to connect.

Neighbourhood: City Centre

  • Directions:This park is located on the west bank of the River Avon in the centre of the city just below the obelisk on Orange Grove and just east of Bath Abbey.
    Cross street: Grand Parade
  • Hours:Public park open 24/7
Best times: Evenings, the later the better...especially after the pub across the street closes.
    Dates open: 24/7 year round
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Sit on a bench along the river and make eye contact with men walking on their own..have palm in lap covering crotch and smile and if it's late and you are in the trees along the wall chances are pretty much 100% that any other guy you encounter is looking for the same thing you are.
Cruisiest Spots: Against the west stone wall below the Grande Parade or along the south wall in the trees south of the bandstand. The bandstand is good very late and the path along the river is good earlier from 9 to mid-night.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Too many tourists to make this a viable spot during the day.
Warnings: Some tourists may not speak English and not everyone is looking to connect so use your usual cruising common sense.
