Crowd: Many different guys. some older, some from the various industrial complexes around. Its a pretty good mix.

From I-94 take Haggerty Rd. south until it turn into Savage Rd.. it will be on the left.
Cross street: Savage Rd

  • Hours:Dawn til dusk daily.
    Best times: Weekdays around lunch hour.
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Just give the usual signs and walk into the woods away from the trails.. if they are interested, they will follow. Restrooms can be fun to but look out for park workers.
    Cruisiest Spots: Nature trails.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:Park workers, just stay out of site.
    Warnings: I did see an arrest made once in the bathrooms but never heard of anyone getting busted in the woods..

  • come on guys lets start using this place...its perfect for blo-n-go or longer encounters...very underused, quiet, lots of wooded areas to slip into...i get hard just thinking about chance encounters in the woods...i'll be out there this warm season, hiking as usual...sure hope to meet some of you this year

  • Just an update on the location of this park. The directions listed are for Lower Huron, not Oakwoods Metropark. Oakwoods is off of Willow Road, a short distance east of Willow Metropark, and west of Huron River Drive.
