This place is a well-appointed YMCA, used to be another brand gym before Bham YMCA org bought it. Very nice facilities and equipment. Very nice men.
Crowd: Mostly yuppies and businessmen. But many like to play.

Exit US31 South at 21st Ave. South. Take a left, under the Fwy, and the a right immediately after the underpass. Go over the hill to the YMCA.

Cruisiest Spots: SteamRoom. - Wheelchair Accessible:Yes / Elevator available to Men's Dressing Room.
- Warnings:The YMCA is slow to fix things that go wrong. But that's typical.
Warnings: Be VERY discreet, lots of gung-ho heteros. But most are nice.

All YMCAs in greater bham are affiliated. Membership is $58 per month (single) but it entitles you to visit any of the four or five facilities. There is an initiation fee, then it's month to month. You have guest privileges, and can come and stay as long as you like, as many times as you like...
