The back part of the park, just across the road and a bit north is very cruisy. the rest room in particular.

    Cruisiest Spots: There are two parts to this park: one where the YMCA is located (the front) and the back. The Yahoo map listing is dated. The streets have changed.

  • Nudity / Policy:Keep it at home. This is not that type of venue.
  • Wheelchair Accessible:No
  • Warnings:This are is patrolled periodically. The cops are Ridgeland or Rankin Sheriff's dept. they are usually pretty cool but don't be nude, smell like pot or look suspicious.

    cruiser update: The cops for lakeshore aren't ridgeland. They don't have jurisdiction but reservoir patrol and rankin SO do have jurisdiction.

  • this park has been more of less taken over by young people playing "frisbee-golf" during the daylight hours. While they are fun to look at they have been known to drop and dime on people and rat out your tag numbers to cops if you cruise them.

    The cruising at this park has moved to early mornings and after dark.

    Just keep your wits about you and don't do anything stupid.

  • Have there been any arrests or stings at this park lately?? Went to the second of the two parks about four weeks ago. Saw a hot looking guy in a pickup. Went into the bathroom and waited, but he ended up driving off like he was scared to come in. Drove back to the main parking lot and sat for about another 15 minutes. Saw another car pull into the park and up to the bathroom. Started that way, but realized it was an unmarked police car!! Cruised on by very quickly and didn't go back.
