From Bridgewater follow signs to the #3, also know as the old road between Bridgewater and Lunenburg. About 5kms or so outside of Bridgewater you will see the park entrance. It's on the right hand side if you are heading out of Bridgewater. It's on the river; you will see a beautiful scene of water and trees as you drive the #3.
Cross street: On the #3, just outside of Bridgewater, town of Dayspring
  • Crowd:Discreet married guys, and tourists. Some local young gay guy was there too.
  • Hours:Park is open from 8AM to dusk, but you can still park in the small front parking lot after the park is closed. I was not there at night, but got the feeling there would be action then too.
    Best times: I was there around 4-7 PM. Got lucky within just a few minutes, then the place was quiet. I hung out and took a hike (the place is beautiful). There was new action starting when i left around 7PM
    Dates open: All year I think, but definitely in the warm months
  • Cruising Info/ Tips:Obviously be discreet. I saw lots of families, but they all seem to use the central part of the park, the trails right at the entrance were cruisy and no one else seemed to use them.
    Cruisiest Spots: Park just inside the entrance, right up the paths behind the parking lot. Someone had strewn there so it tipped me off.

  • Visting south shore from outta town, not having much luck... checked out Miller Pt, btwn 5-6pm and no luck. So do people go here, is there a better time (later, earlier)? What say you guys?

  • Late afternoons on Sundays when families are having dinner have always been guys there. Had a few encounters this summer. I will be stopping for more on Sundays for sure.
